WWE 2K Battlegrounds is an upcoming professional wrestling video game developed by Saber Interactive and published by 2K Sports. It is a spin-off of WWE 2K20. It is expected to be released on September 18, 2020, as the eighth game under the WWE 2K banner. Battlegrounds will replace WWE 2K21 for 2020, which was cancelled due to both the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the negative reception surrounding WWE 2K20 after its release in October 2019.
